Adaptation Ventures was founded by Ben Warren, from London, who has over 15 years of experience in impact and sustainable finance. He previously held investment roles at two of the UK’s largest impact funds and most recently led a sustainable agriculture company in Myanmar for eight years. He has spent more than a decade living and working in Asia, raising over USD 100 million for food security, livelihoods and climate-focused investments from leading global impact investors.

Ben has also worked in technical impact investment advisory roles with the UK Government (Cabinet Office) and United Nations (UNOPS-LIFT), and as an entrepreneur and a board member. He holds an MA in Sustainable Finance and an MSc in Development Studies, with a focus on the nexus between agricultural communities and climate investment.
